When Nasamba's husband passed away in 2015 of Hepatitis B, he left her with 8 children: 5 boys and 3 girls. Recognizing the vulnerable place this put her in, ROWAN quickly invited her to join our programs so that she would be embedded in a supportive community and eventually connect her with a sponsor! Her favorite activities in ROWAN programs are livelihood skills and empowerment classes for life as well as attending Bible study classes.
