Monica Batambule

Monica is one of our precious Jajjas (elderly). Monica became a widow in 2003 when her husband passed away after suffering with HIV/AIDS. Monica was left to raise her 14 beautiful children alone. Another heartbreaking chapter unfolded in her life as she lost 2 of her babies. Of her remaining 12 kiddos, 8 are all grown up and 4 are still little. Two of Monica's kids enjoy being part of ROWAN: Miriam Batambule and Asanansi Batambule.
