Mary Namugaya
Mary is one of the newest members in ROWAN! She is one of our precious Jajjas (elderly grandmas). She lost her husband years ago to HIV/AIDS, but fortunately she does not carry the virus! She is a mother of two beautiful children and together we can help her sustain her family! She has joined a ROWAN savings group where she is learning to save each week. She says that ROWAN is her best friend, and we simply love having her as a part of our family.

Mary Namugaya, a care giver of 2 children in ROWAN gives a great inspirational story about the program and the goats project. After the death of her husband, ROWAN enrolled her in the program and she was comforted with the love she found in the program. Not only that but also the hospitality she got from ROWAN staff enabled her to enjoy the program. She appreciates the goat she was given and the good news is that it is expectant of a baby goat soon! Thanks be to God for this great opportunity.
